Nicole’s Gone Hiking – Notes from the Appalachian Trail

Starting on April 7th, our conservation project coordinator, Nicole Eller is leaving us temporarily so that she may set forth to accomplish a feat that few have the courage to attempt and even fewer are able to succeed in completing. She is hiking the entire Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine, from start to finish, over the course of six months. She will cover over two-thousand miles on foot and cross through fourteen states. Nicole hopes to immerse herself in the great American wildness and see first hand some of the most remote and pristine places left in the eastern United States. She will be taking our conservation message to the trail and reporting her journey back to us on a regular basis so that we may share it with everyone. Join Nicole as she embarks on a great journey into the wild.
