We are excited to announce our contribution to the Harford County Barn Quilt Tour! Our quilt is in the shape of a turtle (of course) and our mural was inspired by both the style of the Buy Local barns we all love and the old product advertisements that used to be seen throughout the region. Just like our organization, our barn quilt and mural were dreamed up and hand made with love by our wonderful and dedicated team of passionate wildlife enthusiasts.
Our barn can be seen at upcoming events like our soon-to-be announced summer open house where we will share with you our progress as we, with your help, move steadily forward to opening the Wildlife Center to the public. Feel free to contact us if you ever want a private tour outside of our events before we are open to the public, we love connecting with our community and sharing our vision.
Our barn quilt and mural were created because we not only love the arts but because we enjoy the local tradition that helps tie us into the rural agricultural landscape we are so fortunate to be a part of. We are working on some exciting new programs to help promote great ways we can all enhance our beautiful lands to help create healthier homes for our wildlife.
